You need an active Waukegan Public Library card to download digital materials. If you live in Waukegan and don’t have a library card, get one! If you live outside Waukegan, try contacting your home library to learn about their eBook collection.
Open your app store and download the free Comics Plus for Libraries app. Open the app and tap the Settings button in the bottom right corner.
NOTE: The Comics Plus for Libraries app is not the same as the regular Comics Plus app. Make sure to download the library version.
3. Log in with your Comics Plus account.
Tap Log In/Sign Up at the top of the screen. Search for the Waukegan Public Library and tap on the name. Enter your Comics Plus account information and tap Log In
5. Search for a title
Tap the Featured button in the bottom left corner. You're now ready to search for a title! Browse the in-app collections, or tap the Search button in the top right corner to look for a particular title.
Let's search for the Lumberjanes series. Tap Check Out for the title you want.
6. Begin reading.
Your title should start downloading automatically. Tap Read Now to begin reading. You can download as many titles as you'd like, and each title is checked out for 7 days.
8. Manage your titles.
Tap My Comics at the bottom of the screen to view the current titles on your device, as well as any previously downloaded titles in your cloud.
9. Delete a title.
To delete a title, navigate to My Comics and tap and hold the cover of the title you'd like to delete. Release after a second and the title information should appear. Tap the trash can icon in the bottom right corner and then tap OK to delete.
NOTE: The title will still show up as a grayed-out cover image when you view the titles added to the cloud.
