- You can check out as many digital comics as you'd like, with no waiting! Titles are kept on your computer/device for 7 days and can be redownloaded.
- Titles are automatically deleted at the end of the borrowing period, so there are never any late fees for digital materials!
- You can browse the comics you've checked out in the past, so you never need to worry about forgetting what titles yo've already read!
- Digital comics cannot be checked out from other libraries, and cannot be checked out by anyone who does not have a Waukegan Library card in good standing.

Not a Waukegan card holder?
You need an active Waukegan Public Library card to download digital materials. If you live in Waukegan and don’t have a library card, get one! If you live outside Waukegan, try contacting your home library to learn about their eBook collection.
Comics Plus
1. Create a Comics Plus account.
Visit the Comics Plus website at www.rbdigital.com/waukeganil/service/comicsplus. Enter your library card number and fill out the required information.
2. Get started.
After you have logged in with your account information, click Get Started to go to the Comics Plus home page.
3. Search for a title.
You can browse through different collections on Comics Plus to find a title to download, or you can search for a specific title or author. Let's search for the title Lumberjanes.
4. Check out a title.
Click Check Out next to the title you want to read. The title should begin downloading automatically. When the download is finished, you can choose to keep browsing or Read Now. Titles are checked out on your account for 7 days.
5. Reading controls
Use the left and right arrow keys to turn the page. Use the up arrow key to switch between a single or a double page display. Use the Esc key to bring up the display menu, and click the ? at the top of the screen to bring up the page control information again.
6. Manage your comics.
Click on My Comics to view your current and previously checked out titles, or to search for a particular title that you have already checked out.
